Chip Spear has requested use of the Lakeview Lodge and waiving of fees for its use, to hold a Workshop Discussion on Country Problems.  The discussion could go beyond politics and the environment.  The session would be open to the public, and members of Town Boards and Commissions will be invited to attend.  Following further discussion Selectman Hurlburt moved to waive the fees for use of Lakeview Lodge for workshop to be held on May22, 2016.   The vote taken was unanimous.

APPOOINTMENT TO SOLID WASTE COMMITTEE

Selectwoman Gorski moved to appoint Michael Kaloyanides to the Solid Waste Committee.  The vote was called.  There were two yes votes and one no vote that of Selectman Shea as he felt that George MacDonnell should be re-appointed.

STREET LIGHTS

First Selectwoman Gorski was sent information regarding the offer of Eversource for towns to buy their street lights and maintaining them.  The cost to the towns for electricity would be less, however towns would have to maintain them, and hire outside contractor to repair.  The Town would lose tax revenue of about $14,000 alone to save $10,000 in electrical fees.  First Selectwoman Gorski is checking with other municipalities through CCM to see how they are handling it.  It was the consensus of the Selectmen to make no changes at this time.
