Attendance:  First Selectwoman Derrylyn Gorski, Selectman Donald Shea

First Selectwoman Gorski called the meeting to order at 4:05 p.m.  The meeting was held in the Selectmen’s Conference of the Bethany Town Hall. 

TAX REFUND

First Selectwoman called for a motion to refund to Vault Trust the sum of $576.45 for overpayment of taxes.  The motion was moved by Selectman Shea and seconded by First Selectwoman Gorski.  Unanimous vote of approval.

COMMUNITY GARDER

The Selectmen discussed handling of funds paid for use of the Community Garden spaces.   The Bethany Garden Club is a 501C non- profit organization.  Since they are, the club can collect the fee for use of the Town owned Pole Hill Road Park, for garden space, and to use the funds for improvement of the area.  The motion to allow the Garden Club collect the funds and run it through their bank account, using the funds for improvement of the area was moved by Selectman Shea and seconded by Selectwoman Gorski.  The vote taken was unanimous.

ADJOURNMENT

Adjournment was called at 4:10 p.m. after a motion was moved by Selectman Shea and seconded by First Selectwoman Gorski.  Unanimous vote of approval.
