Attendance:  First Selectwoman Derrylyn Gorski, Selectman Clark Hurlburt, Selectman Donald Shea
Visitors:  Fran Doba
 First Selectwoman Gorski called the meeting of the Board of Selectmen to order at 7:30 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance.   The meeting was held in the Selectmen’s Conference Room of the Bethany Town Hall.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
First Selectwoman Gorski called for a motion of approval for the minutes of the previous meeting of October 10, 2016.  The motion of approval was moved by Selectman Shea and seconded by Selectman Hurlburt.  The minutes were approved on a unanimous vote without change.
SET DATE AND AGENDA FOR SPECIAL TOWN MEETING
The Selectmen discussed the agenda for the Special Town Meeting.  It was determined after discussion that the Special Town Meeting would be held November 29, 2016 to adjourn to a referendum to be held
December 6, 2016.  The Selectmen determined that the referendum on the bond issue for the Fire Department radios would be held the same day as the Amity bond issue December 6, 2016. 
The Selectmen also agreed to have the Cemetery Committee Ordinance modification on the agenda of the Special Town Meeting. 
The Selectmen agreed to have approval for the purchase of a police car, funds to be taken from the Special Police Revenue account on the agenda. 
ADJOURNMENT
Adjournment was called at 7:50 p.m. after a motion was moved by Selectman Hurlburt and seconded by Selectman Shea.  The vote taken was unanimous.
