KNOLLWOOD ROAD WELLS

First Selectman Gorski reported that she had received a report from DEEP.  The three wells on Knollwood Road are being impacted by surface water causing the high sodium test.  Some of the wells are less than 100 feet deep.  Their suggestion was to dig new wells and install deeper casings.  First Selectwoman Gorski is waiting to get bids for this work.  It is estimated that the cost would be approximately $9,100 for 300 feet of well with 75 feet of casing.
