MINUTES OF THE LONG TERM FINANCIAL PLANNING COMMITTEE MEETING OF TUESDAY, MAY 15, 2012 Page 1 of 1


The meeting of the Long Term Financial Planning Committee commenced at 7:08 p.m. in the Commission Meeting Room of the Bethany Town Hall, 40 Peck Road, Bethany, Connecticut.




The following Committee Members were present:

Stephen Squinto, Chairman

Chip Spear

Sharon Huxley

Jamie Stirling



Also present were:

Derry Gorski, First Selectwoman

Michael J. Vigeant of The Center for Research

Seamus McNamee-Perez of The Center for Research





Mr. Vigeant stated that a draft survey has been prepared by The Center for Research but will not be distributed at this meeting. Mr. Vigeant would like any comments from Committee members with any additional information they would like added to the draft survey.



Committee members discussed and made comments. Mr. Vigeant and Mr. McNamee-Perez will make modifications to the draft survey and email the survey to all Committee members including a draft press release. Mr. Vigeant asked Committee members to make individual comments and email back.



The Committee determined the following timeframe:

• Send postcard to residents with general information on upcoming survey early June.

• Survey to be conducted mid June.

There being no further discussion, the meeting was adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
