Meeting Minutes (Approved)
Bruce Loomis called the meeting to
order at 8:05pm. Also in attendance were Cathy Rives, Patsy Winer and Matthew
Popp. Shaukat Khan and Brian Eitzer were absent. Bruce appointed Matthew as a
voting member in place of Shaukat.
The minutes from the previous
meeting were reviewed. Not enough members who attended that meeting were
present, so the minutes were tabled until the next meeting.
There were no bills or
correspondence for the commission.
Bethany’s Rid Litter Day on April
28th was brought up. The commission members will support the event
if they are able.
The commission discussed the
application and selection process for Conservationist of the Year for 2019 and
decided to leave it as is.
The Woodward Silsby Estates
subdivision application was reviewed. Since the subdivision already met the
town’s open space requirement, the commission decided that no action was
necessary.
The Bethany Open Space Appendices
were reviewed. The commission worked on updating them. More work is needed
before they are completely revised.
Matthew moved to adjourn the meeting, Cathy
seconded. The meeting was adjourned at 8:50pm.
